-Ask the essential questions!
With my series of films on environment and development I have tried to give picture from both North and South to show what we self can do, independent of daily destructive feelings. So much of human knowledge and insights never gets presented in ordinary mass media. For me this works has been a challenge to artistically find a balance between outward political & environmental questions and inner search for personal development.

Possibly the best Swedish environmental pedagogues, teacher Wolfgang Brunner of Visby, Gotland, leads us on a journey toward the Galaxy of Lyre and back. On the ship we intersect with the lost space ship Aniara, the Swedish author Harry Martinsons vision of an earth that did not change course.

Järna/Södertälje is a Swedish California with contrasts from the Assyrian society in Södertälje to the Steiner and Hari Krishna communities. The city has traditionally been a major Social Democratic industrial stronghold. Starting with a meeting with former premier, Tage Erlander we look at the conflict between ideas and ideologue to be better equipped to understand new conflicts to come.
